We are looking for interested candidates for the following positions:
Garden Centre Customer Sales and Service
(Seasonal Full Time and/or Seasonal Part Time)
Must have Attributes of Candidates:
- Generate sales with informative plant descriptions
- Friendly, helpful, positive attitude
- Willingness to learn, likes a fast pace fun environment; team player with strong work ethic
- Honest, reliable, accurate, takes pride in work, takes direction easily
- Physically fit to assist customers with gardening products, physically fit to handle garden centre display of products and loading in customer's cars
- Values cleanliness, safety, must wear steel-toed footwear and adhere to company safety policy
- Excellent verbal and written skills (handwriting) essential for interacting with customers and co-workers
- Excellent math and memory skills, good listening skills.
- Enjoys being outdoors and works well with others on his/her own
Nice to Have Attributes of Candidates
- Gardening Experience
- Knowledge of plant material is not required but is helpful
- We offer training in all areas of product knowledge, plant care and general maintenance.
